EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR)

Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) is a way of reducing the car's NOx emissions. By recycling a certain proportion of the exhaust back into the engine, lower heat emissions and exhaust temperatures are created.

The recycled gas can also be sent through an EGR cooler to lower the temperature. The disadvantage of EGR, however, is that the engine can become clogged with soot. This will affect your car's performance, consumption and costly costs. In case of an error on the EGR system, a warning light usually comes up on the dashboard.

If the EGR valve fails, these are often expensive to replace at a workshop.

Our EGR solution is to deactivate the EGR valve and reprogram the car's ECU to reduce engine temperatures, improve gas response and fuel economy, and even extend engine life.

Jeg var innom med en 120d 177hk, og etter en steg 2 mapping ble det en helt annen bil, det går nesten ikke å kjøre uten antispinn på regn, for det bare spinner! Den spinner også i 1 og 2 på tørt, dette fuker bra!
